Leading for Warren County
Doug Gorman was elected Warren County Judge Executive in 2022. Prior to becoming Judge Executive, Doug was a small businessman. Whether in public service or private business, Doug is recognized for his ability to lead with purpose - create good jobs, protect our streets from crime, and stand firm against any attack on our way of life .
Doug went to work at Booth Fire & Safety in Bowling Green in 1995 before buying the business a few years later. Over the next two decades, he quadrupled operations, created local jobs, and was named Small Businessman of the Year.
In recognition of his success in the private sector, Doug has been selected to lead organizations making Warren County a better place to live, work, and worship, including as Chair of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, Doug joined the inaugural Warren County Downtown Economic Development Authority (TIF) board. He later became Chairman and oversaw more than $350 million of capital investment in downtown Bowling Green—the most successful project of its kind in Kentucky. With bold leadership, Doug led an economic and cultural revitalization at the heart of Warren County.
